I don't think you should upload new versions of allegro to x2ftp. I've   
cooperated with Shawn on some of the code (mode X) of allegro, but I   
wouldn't consider making changes and uploading them to x2ftp as a   
complete version. (even if the changes are minor bug fixes). Why not   
creating patches, or diffs and uploading them to x2ftp. (If you upload a   
file called alleg211.zip to x2ftp, the original (last official) release   
will be deleted.)
At least you could wait until Shawn is back on the net (and I heard this   
is going to be soon). BTW I have no problem at all with the fact that   
you're trying to improve allegro, I just think you should leave the   
official (or official-like) releases to Shawn.
