Yes it works. BUT you must turn on the "No persistent blocks" option in
the preferences. But this will be affect only the editors, which will be
opened after setting this option. (I have fixed it already to affect
this
also to the currently opened windows for the next).

Handling the tabs is now somehow different to the previous versions.
Using the left arrow key will move every time one column left. And
the option with the "Use real tabs" has the same effect as above
described
(only for the window, which are opened after setting this).

I found some little bugs in setting the video mode and I hope, your
problem
will be fixed also with this.
