You could use some sort of cross-compiler and generate the executable that
way.
I think that's going to be far too much work than is necessary, though.
Write your code in ANSI C, upload it to your home directory on your
provider's system, and then compile it with gcc there.
That's the advantage of using DJGPP -- you become familiar with the gcc
command line interface, which makes it painless to start compiling things
under Unix (because you've already been using the same program!).
