Without seeing a command line invocation of gcc, the only thing I can think
of is that you and the original poster are including a -o command line
argument with no following output file.

(gcc 2.6.3 for Linux catches this correctly [with "gcc: argument to `-o' is
missing"], but it's conceivable that DJGPP 2.0x doesn't.  That's the only
thing I can think of without further information.)
