I have just today discovered a copy of the resource compiler sitting
on a magazine cover disk. It comes bundled of the evaluation copy of
CAs' Visual Objects.

I have been looking for this piece of Microsoft software for quite
some time. I want to write programs for windows using DJGPP and firmly
support the FSF idea. I did not want to go out and spend money on a
new programming packages I want to release all my work free of any
charge. By for that, I am quite happy using DJGPP and have got to know
it quite well.

As far as I know, rc.exe is not supplied free by microsoft. It is only
available with their (and others) langauge compilers.
