You're right of course.  But I say that that extra 'e' on the end is
overrated!  Nobody pronounces it, and it doesn't even change the word's
pronoununciatiation.  I say we start a campaign to get rid of all those
useless e's on the end of words, starting with PALLET(E).  All in favor?
