Thanks Eric for the reply.  I believe I got all these differences worked
out.  This was quite important to me as I am working on a povray utility
(the first utility I work on), then for the first time I *actually* had to
make decisions that concern the end user, between using Schnitker's NT09
version of the EMX port (the rsx dual-mode in addition to the
text-based-programs rsxwin are quite neat) or DJGPP.  And yes, as of this
writing EMX.EXE does not support DPMI, but RSX.EXE as you stated does and
works fine with CWSDPMI in MSDOS Mode.

ps:  the documentation of RSXNTDJ promises to have support for dual mode
programs in the next release by the way.  It will be interesting to see how
this would be implemented!
