That's due to a bug in ld.exe which comes with DJGPP.  There was a 
discussion on this issue some time ago, and a solution was supplied 
(AFAIK).  I don't remember the particulars, but you can see all the 
discussion by pointing your Web browser to this URL:

Search for POVRAY (or POV-RAY) and "exhausted" and you will get all those 
messages.
