That's for DJ Delorie to decide.  If you want it out faster, write to him 
and volunteer to help test and/or improve the new release.

There are bugs in the library and utilities (see the list of bugs at
http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/bugs/) that will be corrected.  New ports of
some GNU packages (Binutils, GDB, Findutils, Fileutils, Textutils,
Sh-utils, Emacs, maybe also Make) will be added.  The long filenames
support should be fixed.  Again, ask DJ for more complete info, I'm not
sure I know everything about this.  Also, anybody who thinks there is
something else to fix/improve in DJGPP and has enough time and motivation
to do that, please write to DJ and volunteer.
