Murphy's Theorem.
Nothing can go wrong.
Proof: Assume the opposite. If something can go wrong, it will go wrong.
If something goes wrong, it goes wrong the worst way. 
If things would go wrong the worst way, you wouldn't even exist.
This is a contradiction, which proves the theorem.
