No.  You should use the `ar' program which comes with DJGPP.  It is 
documented in the on-line docs.  You use it like so:

	ar rvs mylib.a file1.o file2.o file3.o ...

Note that DJGPP libraries have a .a extension; it's a Unix legacy.
