In defence of Eli, those "read the FAQ" messages all contain little
pointers to the specific section where the answer can be found.  And
Eli does answer questions in other ways.  So I can conclude that Eli
did read every message he answers with "RTFAQ".  And more often than
not, the answers does point to the right place.
