But it doesn't build by default as a multi-frame, windowed Emacs that you
will see on any Unix box which runs X-Windows.  Emacs can be configured
and built with X-Windows under MSDOS (see CONFIG.BAT in the Emacs
distribution), but you need a library that emulates X on MSDOS.  Xlib is
such an emulation, and was verified to allow Emacs to be built that way,
but only with DJGPP v1.x.  I think making Xlib available on v2 could be 
of great value, in Emacs and elsewhere.

19.32 is out as of this week.  But I suggest waiting a few days for 19.33
(yes, a few days, that's no typo), it will have at least one DOS-related 
bugfix and will probably support clipboard under MS-Windows (unless the 
powers that be decide to postpone the clipboard support until 19.34).
