Suggestion: read the FAQ (v2/faq201b.zip from the same place you get 
DJGPP).  It discusses some possible causes for such problems in sections 
6.4 and 15.9.  If that doesn't help, please post a detailed description 
of your crashes, including the gcc command line and the stack traces.
