Subject: fgrep from grep20b.zip crashes my machine....

I think that grep does too. I haven't analysed it very well, but it seems
to me that unbalanced qoutes kill it. For example:

fgrep "

sends my machine to its death. Anybody else notice this?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I noticed as well that when I run grep and forget to pipe or use a
filespec parameter I lock my machine hard. I am not at home so I can't check
the version of the grep, but I believe I got it with djgpp off one of the ftp
sites ( two weeks ago or so ). Any cause? Any solution? I will
recompile the code if I have to.

TIA
