  I had rather problems with bloody 'configure' scripts.  I used somewhat old
port of Korn shell with two flavours: 16 and 32 bit.  Both used to barf but
at different times (32 bit version was more spectacular - usualy system got crashed
and screwed Stacker volume).  So having no other choice I had to sit on my back
and to edit Makefile.in file.  Does anybody have better idea to handle this?
