I realize this forum isn't techniclly the correct place to post this question, but at least someone might either know the answer or tell me where to look.
I was currious, I have a NetBSD (i386) UNIX box with the gcc compiler. I have NeXT (i386) UNIX box with no gcc compiler or any compiler for that matter. The gcc source distribution supports compiles into both NetBSD and NeXT.
How can I do a cross compile? It would seen to me that the fact that they are both i386 class machines both running UNIX would be capable of doing something like this with out all the trouble outlined in the gcc INSTALL for a cross compile.
I just can't seem to wrap my head around why this wouldn't work and if it would how is it done?
