I have also simply loaded the FAQ and used 's' to search the entire thing
for a given subject.  I keep pressing 's' and hitting Enter until I find
something
that looks good.  :)

BTW, I dislike indices on general principles, but I have to admit that when
I searched for topics in it it was pretty darn inclusive.  However, even as
an experienced user, the index was a bit daunting in terms of its sheer
size.

Also, info is IMHO the best way to read the FAQ.  It is also veryeasy to
simply load up 'libc.inf' and do a global search on topics within that
document.  It's provided with DJGPP, so why not use it?
