I don't think so 8-)... Win95 must be causing some sort of IRQ/DMA problem,
which make Allegro fall over when trying to play sound. I have no experience
with Win95 and Allegro, though.

DSP = Digital Signal Processor. It's a chip on the soundcard that does
processing on the sound, like echo's, reverb, etc. The SB16 has one, and I
think software has to configure the DSP to be able to play .WAV files, etc.
Try e-mailing Shawn Hargreaves (Allegro's author) for more help with this.
