That's `TMPDIR', not `TMP_DIR'.

You can use either.  DJGPP.ENV already sets TMPDIR, but you can change 
that line to point to your RAM disk.  If you set it from the DOS prompt, 
it will override the value inside DJGPP.ENV (that's what that `+' sign 
at the beginning of line is for).
