well all I can say is this isn't what was happening for me 2 days ago
when I was searchnig like mad for an ftp site.  I finally had to use
ftp search 3.0 starting with the keyword Simtel and take it one
directory at a time till I reached it.  all the URL's in the faq's and
doc's gave me "not found" error.
