Hmm.. don't know about any libraries, but there are a few cards
around that do full duplex.. The problem is that most of the well
known cards are entry-level, not designed for pro-audio work, like
hd recording, etc.. I probably wouldn't put most of these card into
the "pro" catagory either, but..
There's a company called Turle Beach, who do something like 6 cards..
I can't remember much about them now, but a few models to look out for are
Tahiti and Maui. They start around 200 uk pounds, but there are lots
of other cards, even some at 900 ukp, like the Card D (or maybe it's
D Card =)..
Sorry this is so vague, my memory's not too good =)
Anyways, you don't see these cards advertised much in computer press,
but most music mags advertise them (Sound on Sound's a good bet if
you're in the UK, don't know whether it's available elsewhere tho..)
By the way, there's a Linux driver which supports one of the Turtle
Beach cards (probably the Tahiti) - you might want to try porting
that (unless you use Linux anyway, of course =).. most SunSITEs carry
Linux stuff..
