I don't understand what documentation do you miss.  As far as I know,
except for some omissions, every public function and variable in the
library should be and is documented.  The few items which aren't in the
libc.inf reference were just forgotten, or nobody found time yet to
document them, but it wasn't done on purpose.  What is the ``arcane
stuff'' that you need to be ``seriously discussed''?
