I pulled the SIMMs out of my machine at work and took them home to add to
my 8MB home machine. I tried compiling my project in 8MB, 16MB, and 32MB
of memory. It is 4K lines of C++, most of which uses the STL vector and
map templates. Compile times were:

8MB; 19 minutes
16MB: 10 minutes
32MB: 10 minutes

Measurement granularity was 1 minute. I'm going to cough up the bucks for
another 8MB and relieved that there is no point in going to 32MB.
