You may also need to include the standard C++ library: "-lstdcx". In short:
   gcc hellocpp.cc -IC:\djgpp\lang\cxx -o hellocpp.exe -lgpp -lstdcx
If you use gxx, you don't need -IC:\... or -lgpp. Make sure you set the DJDIR 
environment variable to point to your djgpp directory.
