I downloaded djgpp v2 last night from sunsite northern Europe, and I am
trying to convert a program I have written. It makes extensive use of the
fact that under v1/go32 the video frame buffer was always at
0xD0000000... but this facility seems to have disappeared under v2. I've
checked the FAQ, tried to use the frame buffer base address from the
GrContext structure in grx20.h, and done a few other things besides...
but to no avail. I don't want to use functions or macros or
_set_nearptr_enable or anything like that, since speed is of the essence.
Is there any way I can set up a v1-like video memory access routine? Or
will I have to go back to version 1 again?
And help *very* gratefully received...
