Ok,

The program that I was having so much hassles with, the -DCPLUSPLUS bit,
( I can't get over that, Doh! :) is a simple address book program.
Does fread() in 4kb to load the database. It's is not a bad little
piece for a first  curses program ( haven't done any programming
in the last 3 years ... that's why 90% of my dumb questions :)
So, if anyone wants it, as a curses kinda demo , I'll only be to happy to 
gzip|uuencode|mail it to you;  besides 'shutting up for good' it's 
perhaps the only other best thing that I can come up with at this stage.
The other bit it runs in dos & linux ... so you could use the same address
book from a dosemu session and a linux one ... Hmmm ( lock files, what's 
that :) ? )
