Many thanks to those who helped me get things unpacked using
djtar!
I'm working on a DOS-based i960 cross-compiler, starting
with the djgpp and standard gnu distributions. In trying
to get the binutils working, I've encountered a few problems...
In the binutils/bfd/ directory, the configur.bat file tries
to update sysdep.h with go32.h, which does not exist in the
hosts sub-directory as the batch file requests. Is this
the same go32.h that's in the include directory of djgpp?
In making gas, I set configur.bat to use the target environment
and target cpu of i960, but when I do a make I get
"No rule to make target '../opcodes/libopcodes.a', needed
by 'as.new'.
This might be affected by the bfd configuration not being
completed properly...
In binutils/binutils/, should the configur.bat file be
referencing go32.h? Also, for the target_alias, should I just
set it to "i960"? Does this affect anything other than the
name of the target directory?
Thanks in advance,
Dave Paoletti
