Did you read the file `readme.1st' in the v2 directory?  It lists the 
files you need to install for C and C++ development.  A more detailed 
list can be found in the DJGPP FAQ list (v2/faq200b.zip), section 4.4, 
which can also be read with your favorite WWW browser at this URL:

DJGPP comes with a free DPMI host called CWSDPMI, you can get it in the 
v2misc directory at the same site you got DJGPP v2.  Windows DOS box is 
fine too.
