To answer that, I need to know what was the version that you compiled and
that worked for you, and under what DJGPP version was that.  (In general,
I didn't touch Diff sources since 2.7.1 was ported, and I'm not aware of
anybody else who did, but a lot has changed in the library.)

Also, if you could tell more about what should be the correct output of
Diff when invoked with the above command line, it might help me 
understand what could go wrong.
