This goes for embedded systems as well.

I completely agree. You only have to watch this list. The 'other
compilers' I have used all had problems and generated a range of
responses, the most common being 'it might be in the next release,
third quarter this year'.  Having all the src for the tools is a big
help.

By the way what was the specific features to ID ?
