Get the go32.exe from v1.12m4.  Put it in a seperate directory ( I 
used c:\djgpp\bin1.   Then put this in your path AFTER the original 
djgpp\bin.  Also rename the new go32.exe back to go32-v2.exe.

This allows the ver1.x programs to run properly.
