The DOS EMACS distribution has highlighting stubbed. Someone sent me a working hilit19.el, (thankyou someone). I needed to fiddle a bit to get tolerable colors (it used primary colors and they were a bit garish). If you want, I can send you my hilit19.el and my _emacs file as examples. Just e-mail me and I will reply-mail them. Jeff T Michael E. Am I misremembering : this? I have the DOS version of emacs 19.30 and no colors appear - is : there something I have to do to turn this on, or is it supposed to appear : on its own (implying that my distribution is deficient)? I quick scan : (too quick?) of the FAQ didn't seem to contain any pointers. : Thanks. : --------------------------------------------------------------------- : Michael Wesolowski (mewesolo AT freenet DOT calgary DOT ab DOT ca) -- ============================================ Without my guitar, I am a poet without arms. - Michael Bloomfield ============================================
