Subject: Re: DPMI Error

The error line says that your program is using Rational Systems' DOS/16M
DOS extender, which is a protected-mode, *16-bit* DOS extender for *286*
and above computers. It's not a 32-bit flatmode extender (like the more
famous DOS/4G, also from Rational, which was used to produce Doom2), and so
has the limitations of DOS, such as no virtual memory, 64K-segment
limit, and a host of other ills. CWSDPMI doesn't support 16-bit DPMI
applications, AFAIK. Maybe another DPMI server (eg Windoze) will work,
although I'm not sure if 16-bit DPMI apps can coexist with 32-bit apps,
even if the server allows it.

   Good luck,

Thanks for the info. Windoze _does_ support this application, it is
just when it is executed from within the DJGPP version of GNU Make
that it fails. Hopefully, I will be able to find some way around
this...
