Subject: __djgpp_nearptr_enable() return values?

Hi there,
I've just started using near pointers to access the VGA card, and I'm not
having any problems, thanks to the FAQ :) And I know to check for a
non-zero return value from
__djgpp_nearptr_enable(), but what I would like to know is if an error does
occur calling this function, why would that be? I'm writing a function
returning an error message to the user if it doesn't work, but I'd like to
know what I should suggest to the user to make my killer app work? Thanks
for your time.

Regards,
Bruce Werdschinski
