DJGPP v2.0 supports signals, while v1.x didn't.  If the program you are 
trying to port catches signals, it might be the reason that you can't 
stop it with C-Break.  Try running it under a debugger (the Ctrl-C or 
Ctrl-Break serve there to stop the debuggee and return the control to the 
debugger).
