If my memory is not in fault, I think a saw a sort of a such a thing in 
the examples section of the XLISP distribution (avaliable at the CCT 
[former SimTel] mirrors).

I can not ascertain the completeness of that code nor its accuracy, but 
it may be another pointer for people looking for things of these nature
