Its a CWSDPMI bug.  CWSDPMI ran out of memory zones (after around 3000
sbrk calls).  This can be fixed by bumping the internal heap size.  I
wrote a little program which can adjust this in the binary if anyone
needs it.  This particular C++ file needed 16Mb of VM to compile.
