Further to DJ's reply:

Your concern seems to be that the driver needs to be "installed" - that 
is, from CONFIG.SYS or AUTOEXEC.BAT. This, you will be relieved to learn, is 
not the case. CWSDPMI can be loaded from the DOS command line, or simply 
placed in the current directory or PATH (I believe) and will be loaded 
automatically when your program runs.
Hope that clears things up a bit.
