I've checked the web pages, but can't find the answer to this question:

Is there any real (i.e. other than changes in version number) difference
between beta5 and the release version?  I'm hoping I don't need to do
another lengthy download quite so soon after the last one.

Congratulations to all who've worked on version 2 on finally getting it
released.
