Did you see these errors in v2.0 ld.exe?  All the people I heard 
complaining about this were talking about v1.x ld.exe.  I always 
suspected it is genuine GNU bug, but never had neither time nor knowledge 
to investigate.

If you saw this in v2.0 ld.exe, then most probably it's a bug specific to 
GNU Binutils 2.5.2 (1.11m5 uses Binutils 2.4).  Binutils 2.6 has been 
released but not yet ported to DJGPP, so I'm afraid you will have to 
stick to 1.11 until then.

And what's wrong with that?  Just leave a copy of go32.exe on your PATH, 
it shouldn't interfere with any v2.0 program.  If it fails for you, 
please describe how.
