Subject: Stack fault under 2.7.1 (in startup code ?)
Reply-To: lee_b AT celestia DOT dnet DOT co DOT uk

Hi everyone,

OK, I managed to get 2beta4 to stop saying "internal compiler error"
by disabling all optimization... getting stack faults now though..

Under DOS
=========

Stack Fault at eip=124e; flags=3246
eax=000527f0 ebx=00001000 ecx=00020000 edx=000600af esi=00000054
edi=127f0
ebp=00000000 esp=000527f0 cs=a7 ds=af es=af fs=8f error=0000

Under EDebug32
==============

>> go
eax=000527f0 ebx=00001008 ecx=00020000 edx=000600ff
esi=00000054 edi=000127f0 ebp=00000000 RF UP IE PL ZR PE NC
ds=00ff es=00ff fs=00ef gs=00ff ss:esp=00ff cs=00f7
exception 12(0xc) occured, error code=0
0000124e: e8012d0000	call ___crt1_startup
>> where
0x0000124e 0x124e
0x0000652c ___crt0_setup_arguments+1240

Unless the PC's been modified or something, It looks like the
2beta4/GCC 2.7.1 startup code's dodgy.. any ideas ?

Thanx in advance,

Lee.
