You cannot redirect stderr because COMMAND.COM doesn't know how to do it,
that's the problem.  DJGPP 2.0 comes with a program called redir which
solves this problem.  For DJGPP v1.x, there are few options which are
explained in the FAQ (faq102.zip from the same place you get DJGPP),
section 6.13.
