   Hi! Is there anyone that knows if there is a DOS tool available similar
   as the Unix tool sccs, and can give me a n hint? I whould like to get my computing fingers on such a tool for version control of own developed software.

Yes, GNU RCS has been ported to DJGPP.  I like it better than sccs myself and
use it exclusively, even on UNIX.  It should be in SimTel.
