The fast 256 color option should work. Csaba didn't implement protected mode
banking with GO32 for the VESA driver.

Don't use the VESA driver if possible. The other drivers should be faster.

If your video bios is VESA 2.0 compatible, I might send you a patch for the
grx20 vesa driver. The new one will use protected mode banking with VESA 2.0
