In general, you don't.

The V2 list is more like a chat session between those of us working on
V2 itself.  We swap patches, talk about implementation decisions, and
coordinate our work each night.

Most users will not find useful information on the v2 list.

Note that the V2 developers will ignore requests for help on the V2
mailing list.  Those should go to the newsgroup instead.  The V2 list
is NOT for people who just want help using V2.  The only exception is
for beta testers that are working with us to resolve critical bugs,
where they must participate in our working discussions in order to
best solve the bugs.
