OK: how do you call make from inside the editor? With 1 key like Brief,JED,
PFE, a couple of keys like emacs and its clones, or do you close down Edit
(or shell to DOS) and do some typing? What does it do with the errors
returned from the compiler? Does it understand the structure of C source?
Should I carry on?
