Subject: GNAT-ADA-DOS bugs?

Dear Dos-based-Gnat-Ada software.

I 've been trying to compile, link and execute Ada examples
(including the hello.adb) for PC system with Dos 6 on without
success.

When I run the produced executables, they either crass the machine
(this is the case of e.g. the hello.exe) or they are reported
as "TOO BIG" to be loaded in the memory (how strange, with their
size of been less than 150 Kbytes, and with other applications,
including my own written software of about 300-400 Kbytes running
OK on the same system!!!).

I have been experimenting with loading resident programs and
device drivers up, and down the memory (being 8 Mbytes, including
EMS, expanded) without any improvement.

I 've got the gnat software version: GNAT 1.83 and if I won't
be able to run anything I 'll have to remove it from my HDisk.

I 'd appreciate if anybody has any ideas for the source of
my problems.

 Yours,

  Michael
