It doesn't.
But you can do things incrementally:
- defrag
- shrink your partition
- create new partition (extende)
- format new drive on extended partition
- coppy everything in new partition
- reformat primary partition

Anyway, as far as the original posting is concerned, whats'wrong
with CVS ??
No problem writimg make rules to ssupport it.
