Subject: Who has a Matrox Millenium?
Cc: havemann AT uran DOT informatik DOT uni-bonn DOT de

Dear djgpp-ers!
===============

I'm suffering from the restrictive information policy of Matrox.
I would like to develop my own 3D Sources (fast games, new GUIs...) using my
Matrox Millenium graphics card, but I don't even find a libgrx driver for it...

As it seems to be extremely hard to get any information (interrupt call docs,
sources for direct hardware access) I propose that
   ALL MATROX USERS UNITE
and maybe there's someone strong enough to DECODE (disassemble) given
3D-Samples (nascar racing and others) to extract information to let people
   DISPLAY TEXTURED TRIANGLES USING Z-BUFFER ,
a thing this damn peace of hardware is capable of, but it WON'T LET ME GET AT
IT, it seems. -

So if there's ANYBODY out there having a minimum of experience with the Matrox
Millenium, I'd appreciate any pointer to any bit of information about it. Is
there a newsgroup? Is there a ftp server? Is there a war between the Linux/GNU
community and Matrox Inc.? And why?

                     PLEASE respond, thanks in advance, Your's, Sven.
